Aug. 21st, 2008 03:38 amSchool approaches like the red eye of some looming beast! Hey, did I ever tell you about the time I went out to UBC while it was foggy? It was a thick fog, which seemed to be coming off the sea. The air smelled like rain. The time was early evening.
I walked through one of the grassy patches toward Koerner Library, and encountered a newspaper box. Closer inspection showed that I had never seen a newspaper box there before; and that it contained a single copy of the London Sunday Times*, dated two weeks previously.
The sign on Koerner Library had also been temporarily changed to 'Medical Research Center'.
Presented without comment (it was for a film) (shut up).
PS. Despite my botchery, Dr. Gupta was satisfied, and will let me take MATH 422 and MATH 400. Yay! I don't have to try to sign up for different courses way after I should have done.
*: It could have been any London paper, I forget.
