Andy, I am sort of scared that you have seen more than one headless pigeon. I saw just one, and more, its head wasn't missing, just nearby. The spinal thing was sticking out of the hole in the body.

Today's D&D game was pretty awesome. My character nearly died (like, -3 hp and in range of flailing tentacles) through sheer bravery. And, he saved the party, both by hitting the evil wizard a lot and by giving Plucky someone to flank the wizard so he could do sneak attacks.
