Hallo! I am staying up really late today.

Both my classes are over now, and I took the test for MATH 419. I did an okay job. I have no idea what the score was, but it seems to be about the same as usual (last time i got 80%, second-best).

A neat result which I would kind of like to remember is this. Suppose that X1 and X2 are indie random variables with Gaussian distributions. The means are zero; the variance is σ1 and σ2 respectively.

The conditional distribution of X1 given X1 + X2 is gonna be Gaussian, mean x σ1 / (σ1 + σ2), variance σ1 σ2 / (σ1 + σ2).

Andy (garran) is gonna play the free trial of World of Warcraft, which sounds like fun, but if I am going to explore virtual land, I kind of want to go see Twoflower's arcade (Insert Coin Arcade) in Second Life. Also, I want to go there in an airship. Make it so! —The Starship Enterprise is an acceptable substitute. Or maybe you (the Internet) could build a spiritual labyrinth. With monsters.

I loved exploring that abandoned virtual world. I'm gonna go read about making Second Life crap for a little. XD
