Aug. 11th, 2008 03:22 pmYesterday I saw an old childhood friend, from back when we were living in Toronto. My sister found her on the net somehow, a couple months ago, and now she is visiting Vancouver. They have been hanging out and stuff, and she is leaving tomorrow.
She came over here yesterday for lunch with my family. I wanted to be there, but I couldn't, cause I was going to an extra session of the 4th edition D&D game. So they decided to go to dinner, too, and I got to say hi and see how things are going with her. It was pretty fun!
She and my sister remember orders of magnitude more about my childhood than me. Did you know I used to have a chalkboard in my room? That doesn't sound like the kind of thing you forget, but I did forget it.
