Jun. 19th, 2008 09:47 pmI am almost at the end of MATH 340. Hooray. They didn't curve the marks. So I got 58% on this one. :( Also I made lame mistakes. But it's okay because there were two midterms and I got 100% on the other one.

Uh... I haven't done any neat math stuff. ^_^; The closest I've come this summer is talking to Walter Kohn* and seeing a talk by Jean-Pierre Serre (that I didn't understand).
*: I missed his talk cause I was volunteering and had to go put up posters so the people at the symposium wouldn't get lost on the way to the cheese. So I asked him for his notes, but he was like "scribbly notes are scribbly, read mah papers". Also, he said he started out in Math and after that Physics before deciding on Chemistry. Hee hee, quantum chemistry is quantum. Wait, I used that joke already.
