"The cheating liar, Mayor Turnbull, has recently accepted bribes to put forth the ridiculous project of building a library - as if to say he doubts our intelligence! We would not have been so insulted, but our sources tell us that the bribe was small. Shame, Mayor Turnbull."
Today's lecture was hard. Maybe I should have got to class on time? Now I have to figure it out from the notes I took. If you will excuse me, M'sieu, Madame.
Edit: Since Prof. Slade was doing something else, his graduate student (?) Matthieu Merle came in and gave us two lectures. This was the second. In the tradition of graduate student lectures to undergraduate courses everywhere, it was considerably more difficult than usual. Ok, done figuring out. Nows homework.
