The world's first non-violent army
Apr. 11th, 2006 02:48 amDear the Internet.
I like very much reading F—'s weblog. I don't do it very often, because he is usually saying something controversial and exciting. Sometimes it may be stupid, or even obviously wrong. I really like the "exercise" of looking up the stuff he is talking about, and deciding for myself whether he is correct. When I feel like doing that, it's more fun than spending the evening playing Apricots. When I don't feel like doing that, I don't read his blog.
However, today's controversial statement ("To save America, we must destroy Islam. Read this article about Malmö, Sweden.") is a little bit difficult for me to check. So I thought I'd complain about it on Livejournal instead. What I'm trying to find out is this. What is the distribution of attitudes of American Muslims toward the no-human-rights Islamic theocracies (eg Iran, Saudi Arabia, Sudan, Syria); and various other explicitly Islamic countries and political movements?

(On the Net, the so-called "warbloggers" - people on the Internet using their weblogs to angrily push for war in Iraq and castigate the Muslim community, have been asking, "Where are the voices of the Muslims? We hear nothing but silence!")
PS. Iraq for 51st state!
