(no subject)

The calligrapher Andrzej Kot contributed to Professor Donald Knuth's book of illustrated verses from the Bible. He hid a note in his contribution. The note said, in Polish, "I need pens. I need chocolate." Unfortunately, Prof. Knuth did not find the note until several years had already gone by. He quickly sent out a care package, but he "never heard from [Kot] again, and several Polish people I know have been unsuccessful in learning whether or not he is still alive."

Pursuant to this, there is a tiny picture of someone who may or may not be the calligrapher Andrzej Kot.

[captioned "Andrzej Kot - plastyk na wernisażu swojej grafiki"
(Andrzej Kot - the artist at the vernissage of graphics. Did you know the word "vernissage"?)
This was apparently taken sometime in 2002.]

Can anyone find the original of this picture, somehow? Here is the actual Andrzej Kot.
